These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Sofia Shopify application (the “Service”). By installing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

The Service is intended for business use only, including e-commerce store owners, dropshippers, and other commercial operators.
You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to bind your business to these Terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable laws.
The Service provides landing page templates, AI-assisted text generation, and related tools.
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading purposes, including but not limited to:
- infringing intellectual property rights,
- publishing false or misleading advertising, or
- promoting illegal products or activities.
We reserve the right to remove or restrict access if we receive complaints, regulatory requests, or credible reports of misuse.
Sofia offers a free trial with limited access. Paid plans unlock additional templates and features and are billed on a subscription basis.
Subscription fees are charged monthly in advance. You authorize us (and Shopify, as applicable) to process payment using the billing method you select.
Refunds: We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee, provided that:
- You have actively used the Service by publishing a landing page and driving paid or organic traffic to it, and
- You provide reasonable proof of such use (e.g., analytics or campaign data).
Refunds will not be granted for unused subscriptions or simple cancellations without demonstrating active use.
All software, features, templates, and materials provided by Sofia remain the intellectual property of SofiAI Oy.
You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or resell the Service.
You retain ownership of any content you upload into the Service, and you grant us a limited license to use it only for operating the Service.
The Service uses third-party artificial intelligence services (including the OpenAI API) to generate text, images, and other outputs.
Ownership: As between you and Sofia, you own the rights to any AI-generated outputs created through your use of the Service. Sofia does not claim ownership of such content.
Accuracy: AI-generated outputs may contain inaccuracies, fabrications, or placeholder material. Sofia does not verify the factual accuracy, legal compliance, or appropriateness of any such content.
User Responsibility:
- You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and ensuring that all AI-generated outputs comply with applicable laws, advertising regulations, intellectual property rights, and platform policies (including but not limited to FTC guidelines, EU consumer protection laws, and advertising policies of Google, Meta, and TikTok).
- You must not use AI-generated content to make false, misleading, or unsubstantiated claims, including but not limited to testimonials, endorsements, or representations of clinical, professional, or scientific expertise.
Liability: Sofia disclaims all liability arising from your use of AI-generated outputs. By publishing or distributing such content, you accept full responsibility for any consequences.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through Shopify. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse theService, or if we are required to do so by law or platform request.
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for your specific purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sofia and SofiAI Oy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland.
Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Helsinki, Finland.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the Service or email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
